The Technology

The Truth About Reverse Osmosis

Understanding Usage & Cost

Reverse Osmosis is the most cost-effective way to purify water. While some water is used to flush away impurities (often called "wastage"), the cost is negligible compared to buying bottled water.

The Numbers Don't Lie:

  • Bottled Water: A single 340ml bottle costs ± R5.00.
  • RO Pure Water: Producing 300 Liters of pure water costs only R10.00 - R12.00 in municipal water fees.

There is simply no comparison. You get hundreds of liters of premium, healthy water for the price of two small bottles from the shop.

How It Works

Natural osmosis flows from low concentration to high concentration. Reverse Osmosis uses pressure to reverse this, forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane that rejects:

  • Bacteria & Pyrogens
  • 85%-95% of Inorganic Solids
  • Organic solids > 300 molecular weight

The result? Uncontaminated, crystal clear water for your family.
